Hello from Anne.

            Roxanne first appeared as a permanent character in the Letters Stories when her parents and an older sister joined the Letters Group. She had appeared in some earlier stories as well, going right back to when she was only a small child (6 years old). I won't go into this history because it has been well covered in that series of six stories. (See the list at the bottom of these notes.
            The final outcome was her parents joining the Letters Group. By then, Roxanne and her sister Rachael were both old enough to become full sexual members, and Shanti gave them the choice as to their status within the group. Rachael decided to become a sexual member, while Roxanne decided to remain non-sexual for a while until she decided. Well, when everyone was touring with the overseas visitors, Roxanne began to have second thoughts. She had heard a bit about the fun everyone was having and began to think about getting involved.
            Since Roxanne was old enough, the change was simple. She just approaches a leader like Shanti and tells her she wants to change to a sexual member. Shanti would go over some of the rules and then make an announcement that Roxanne had changed her status. It would be easier since everyone was together at the camp at the Kia Iwi Lakes.
            The one problem was that Roxanne was a virgin. Shanti's suggestion was that she find a man from the group and spend the night with him, fixing that problem. Which is where this story came from. She selected an Indian man, Hamza, to be her first. Kalki, his wife, would be there too.
            For a reason not stated in the story, neither Roxanne nor Hamza wanted to write about it, so the writing defaulted to the only other one there, Kalki.
            I wrote the story as if Kalki were not a good or disciplined writer. She strays a bit into her own story, and the language gets a bit confusing in places. Yes, this was intended in my story. Kalki also has a good sense of humour, which I wanted to come out in the story too. So there it is, the background behind Story 310.
