Story 286 Background Notes.

Index of Letters                      Return to Story 286.

Hello from Julie.

Sarvesh and Shanti go back to the early stories of Letters. Over the years she has been a challenge for him but like a moth attracted to light, he can't keep away from her. I wanted to pick up this theme again so I did some research on both these characters and with Shandra's help, I found some interesting stories. It seems their differences really comes down to a cultural thing. Shanti, while being Indian, was born and brought up in a Western country with a very Western attitude. Meanwhile, Sarvesh comes from a smaller Indian town where traditional values still apply. Sarvesh is also very wealthy and used to getting his way when he wants something.
While Sarvesh tries hard to bridge this cultural gap, Shanti tries to tease and bait him. She will often go out of her way to annoy him and there have been many occasions where Sarvesh has struggled to deal with this head-strong woman.
But when they get together, the sex is great. Perhaps you might see it as a struggle to dominate the other person but it often ends in some wild aggressive sex. When Sarvesh sets out to discipline Shanti for her bad behaviour, who is going to win? Neither will willingly give in to the other.
Understanding this was where I sat down to begin writing this story. It was written quickly, almost in one sitting as the idea flowed through the keyboard and onto the screen.

            Kia Kaka - Kia Kaha.
                  Be safe - Be strong.
                        Julie and Susan.

  1. You took on a big one here. Shanti and Sarvesh have been characters in these stories, almost from the beginning. You picked up on that ongoing rivalry between them and used it to your advantage. I think all six of us here enjoyed this story.
Some will make a comment below my one.

    1. Hello from me to all my friends.
Here in India we are with good health. Covid visited our group but we were lucky with mild attacks.
We have continued to follow the Letters and eagerly await each new one.
Julie you did well here. You are becoming a good writer now. I wish my writing could be equal with you. I enjoyed how you capture another battle between these two popular characters.
Thanks for your good story - Raviprabha.

    2. Hello everyone - Ayesha here.
Since becoming married, my husband and I have remained friends with James and Ravi. We often read the current stories when we gather together at their pool. While the kids are sleeping or enjoying the pool we get to experience each story.
I liked how Shanti stood up to him, challenged him like she did. It shows here strong personality. I also like the way you showed her growing sexual arousal. The role-playing conversations and bum slapping were sexy and led to exciting sex.
      Well done Julie.

    3. I have the final comment to write from India.
Like my friends above, I also keep close friends with James and Ravi. My husband and I, regularly enjoy their swimming pool and reading the Letters from our New Zealand friends.
I think the attraction of this story for us was also the relationship between Sarvesh and Shanti. You wrote it well Julie and gave me the vision of them together like they were. Very good.

I think it is necessary for me to make a comment as well. While I enjoy this blog and enjoy the stories I must admit the photos of you pretty womans is also enjoyable. You Julie make a very sexy photo wearing such tiny bikini top show of your marvellous breasts. Delightful to admire.
